  there's lot's of reasons why we need a monarchy.

  let's face it, it seems like a simplification of the df process as many of you have already mentioned.. within the 6 million or so jw worldwide, there has to be a good number of ppl that are on the fringes of being dfed.

  in the past, it took time to technically df these ppl because of the no-shows at judicial hearings and appeals.

  also dfing a person can be delayed when no actual proof can be provided of the sin committed.

  I don't think a lot of the hollywood stars are used to the talk show formats over here. They're used to Letterman, Leno et al where all they do is plug the film and tell a few anecdotes while the host fawns over them. Here we've got Parky asking personal in-depth questions, Graham Norton asking cheeky questions and giving them sex toys and Jonathan Ross who just plain insults them usually.

  Ha ha yeah get old Wossy on his case..Willis would go mad!!Its a shame Jeremy Paxman doesnt do too many celeb interviews..old Tough guy Bruce would be in floods of tears!

  My Dads an Elder and they met to discuss the new Book.Believe me absolutely nothing has changed,nothing!!

  I Drink,occasionally smoke,am renowned for fairly apostate views and am living in Sin with my GF.

  I have faded for 2 Years and as long as i dont assosciate on a social level with the Cong or set foot in the Hall any time soon,i will not be Disfellowshipped!

  about time we had some warm weather in britain again.

  the weatherman says it'll be up to 20*c on tomorrow (saturday), so what you all got planned to make the most of this short spell of warm weather?

  The last few Years we have had some incredibly hot Summers in the UK.In 2003 it topped 100 degrees here in the South!

  When i was a Kid in the late 70,s early 80,s there was a Aussie District overseer who was at Twickenham DA for a few Years running.Bro Rees was his name,one of those Brothers adored by everyone.I think he was Bethel.

  I was told by our C/O in the 90,s he had left and was "Apostate".I remember being shocked at the time.

  Anyone remember him,or know what became of him?He was a brilliant speaker even to a bored youngster like me.
